Jelly Press ist Nikola Mirza

Jelly Press – Agentur für Public Relations wurde im Jahr 2004 von Nikola Mirza gegründet. Die Agentur mit Sitz in Berlin ist spezialisiert auf Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in den Bereichen Kultur und Gesellschaft. Zu den Themenfeldern gehören Filmfestivals, Kino, Dokumentarfilme, Museen, Kinder sowie ökologische und soziale Nachhaltigkeit.

Nikola Mirza ist seit 1992 in der Film-, Medien- und Kulturbranche tätig – mit Schwerpunkten auf Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie Kommunikation. Vor der Agenturgründung arbeitete er u.a. für die Internationalen Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, MEDIA Desk Deutschland, Hamburg (Film- und Medienförderung der Europäischen Kommission), I Am Media, Hamburg (Filmportal filmgarten.com) und zero film, Berlin (Filmproduktion).

Nikola Mirza gründete 2005 gemeinsam mit Bernhard Karl und Kathrin Bessert das Berliner Weltkinofestival „Around the World in 14 Films“. Er betreute dort bis 2025 u.a. den Bereich Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.

Zu den aktuell von Jelly Press betreuten Filmfestivals gehören die "Ökofilmtour" und "Green Visions Potsdam". Die beiden Festivals beschäftigen sich mit Umwelt, Klima, Natur und Lösungen.

Seit 2020 unterstützt Jelly Press ehrenamtlich die PR-Arbeit der Initiative Changemakers.film, die sich mit einer „Freiwilligen Selbstverpflichtung und Erklärung zum grünen Drehen“ für ökologische Nachhaltigkeit bei Film-, TV- und Streamer-Produktionen einsetzt.
